What the earnings calendar shows

The calendar organizes companies day by day and tells you directly when a company publishes earnings—before market open, after market close, or if the date is unconfirmed. This distinction is practical: an earnings report announced after the close of the US market will only be reflected in the share price reaction the next day.

  • Publication date and time—before market open, after market close, or an estimated time if the company has not yet confirmed it.
  • Earnings per share (EPS) forecast and the number of analysts who prepared it—one forecast is different from the consensus of thirty.
  • Company market capitalization, so you can immediately see whether the report will move an index or just its own share price.
  • Your companies highlighted—portfolio holdings and watchlist items stand out from the list, so you won't miss a report from a company you own.
  • Macroeconomic events in the background—an inflation reading on the same day can overshadow a good company report.

Earnings season on the WSE and in the US in one view

Polish and American companies report on different schedules and under different regulations, and most tools only show one side. Portevo combines both markets into one list: WSE quarterly reports retrieved separately for Warsaw-listed companies and a full calendar for US-listed companies.

The list can be narrowed down to popular companies, by market cap threshold, or sorted by publication time, number of forecasts, and alphabetically. With hundreds of companies reporting on a single day during peak earnings season, this makes the difference between a browsable list and a wall of text.

Company report before earnings publication

Clicking on a company opens its profile: consensus for the upcoming quarter with ranges, history of surprises from previous quarters, quarter-over-quarter margins, and—most interestingly—share price reaction on the trading day after each previous report. This answers the most common question: "how much does this company usually jump after earnings?"

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the earnings calendar free?

Yes. The earnings calendar, company profiles with forecasts, and historical share price reactions are all free to use and do not require an account—simply open the page. An account is only needed if you wish to upload your own portfolio.

Where do the report publication dates come from?

For US companies, dates are sourced from the Nasdaq exchange calendar; for Warsaw-listed companies, from Yahoo Finance data. Dates not confirmed by the company are marked as estimated, as companies sometimes change their publication schedule.

Does it include WSE-listed companies?

Yes. The calendar covers the most liquid companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, plus any companies you have in your portfolio or watchlist. Company profiles work for tickers in the Warsaw Stock Exchange format.

What do "before market open" and "after market close" mean?

This refers to when a company releases its report relative to the trading session. A release before market open allows the market to react before trading begins, while a release after market close shifts the full reaction to the next trading day. If a company has not specified a time, the calendar shows "time to be confirmed."

Will I get notifications for my company's earnings?

Companies in your portfolio and watchlist are highlighted in the calendar, and a counter for each day shows how many of them are reporting. Push notifications are planned for future development.
